The University of Zurich is launching an Institute for Eastern European Studies, formed by merging the Department of Slavic Studies and the Center of Eastern European Studies (CEES). This initiative aims to enhance interdisciplinary and international research on Eastern Europe. As part of its inaugural phase, the institute is offering two postdoctoral roles (60-80% workload each), starting July 1, 2024, for four years. One position focuses on humanities/cultural studies, while the other targets social sciences.
